Public Thrift is a small store. We do not have the ability to recycle clothing the way other larger chains do.
Please help us maintain our quality and donate items that are in good shape. Ask yourself, if you needed this item, would you buy it in the condition you are donating it in?
The Process
Bring in items to donate to the store during store hours by appointment only.
Limit 30 items per person.
Wait & shop while we look through your items.
We will let you know what we cannot accept and give them back to you.
We DO NOT accept large items. Save yourself the hassle and please do not bring these items in.

Clothing, Shoes, Accessories
NO holes, stains, corporate logos, shirts from events, Pjs, bras, underwear, high heels, formal wear including business wear (suits, pencil skirts), or children’s sizes or maternity wear.
YES seasonal fashion that is gently worn and in shape to be resold!
Household Items, Sporting Items, books, dvds, outdoor, hobby stuff etc.
Items must work and all parts must be present at the time of donation. We do not accept large electronics such as microwaves or TVs. We do not accept super outdated and worn items. We do not accept bed sheets, bed pillows, or comforters.
MISC.
Look, we want your stuff. Just please make sure its usable and in decent condition.
